Smartphone Shoud not be Allowed at School

One technology that is getting more attention by technology experts is the handphone. mobile phones are one of the fastest growing technologies among the currently developing technologies. Nowadays, cellphones are no longer a secondary need but have become a primary need. The need for cellphone use today is proven by the increasing number of cellphone users from time to time. there are many advantages offered by this technology, but also not a few bad effects caused by excessive use, especially for teenagers or millennials. one of them is the use of cellphones in schools which today can cause problems in the teaching and learning process in schools.

First, that cellphones can provide easy access to learning materials, but this certainly backfires, because students will only focus on their own cellphones and of course not all students have the same type of cellphone and are connected to the internet. by him this could be a trigger for students to mock each other and even feel smarter than the teacher.

second, students will tend to be less sociable, because they will focus more on social media in their respective cellphones, such as Facebooks, twitter, Instagram, WhatsApp and others. so that the process of direct interaction with peers will be replaced by interactions in cyberspace.

Negative content that can be accessed easily from the internet also triggers bad attitudes and mentality for students. students are more likely to watch or spend their time entertaining themselves than studying.

The negative impact that is very felt is a decrease in motivation to learn and also the attitude of students who tend to close themselves and are insensitive to their surroundings. So that schools are expected to be able to make rules that prohibit every student from bringing cellphones to school accompanied by a notification letter to their parents so that these rules can be well coordinated so that they run well.
