In today's ever developing society, mobile phones are equipped into the students' pockets at all times. Mobile phones are helpful sometimes, but can have bad effects on learning at school.
The first, mobile phones at school will distract students from studying. If students bring their mobile phones, it is certain they will be playing their mobile phones. As an example, a student uses his cell phone as a study aid. He is ignoring his teacher and responsibilities at school.
The second, Cell phones will make students dependent. Smart phones are equipped with so many apps such as calculator, translator, and Gmail. If students will depend on their phones, for example, in a math class, this is concerning. He uses his calculator in his cell phone. He depends on his mobile phone calculator to get the accounting assignment done.
It may be helpful for students somehow, but it brings more bad effects. I personally conclude that banning phones at school will be beneficial.
