IAIN Sultan Amai changed its status from STAIN Sultan Amai based on a Presidential Decree. No. 91 dated 18 October 2004 M coincides with 10 Ramadan 1425 H and is strengthened by the Decree of the Minister of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia. Number 04 of 2005 concerning Organization and Work Procedure of IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo. The development shown by this campus is increasingly developing, therefore continuing to study at IAIN is the right choice. This is based on the following reasons or arguments.

First, IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo institutionally has been accredited with the title B. This accreditation status helps alumni to be able to get jobs in the future and of course can be used to continue higher education levels.
